Who am I?
“Creative Dave” Dubczak. I have an M.Ed and a decade of experience in education. I think creative problem-solving can change the world (Seriously, I do). Problems can be roadblocks, or building blocks. What do you want them to be?
Why do I?
Creative Problem-Solving comes naturally to me, but I noticed it doesn’t to many others. So I learned the processes, methods, and psychology, so I can teach it to as many organizations as possible.
How do I?
My workshops teach Divergent Thinking, Delayed Judgement, and conversation systems to elicit the best ideas, recognize they may not start perfect, and build on promising ideas until they are workable solutions.
What is the “Genius Mode?”
Research shows that a person’s ability to be creative can grow, and can improve with regular and intentional practice.
Creative thinking skills are a toolbox of thinking techniques that a person can use on-demand, not a born ability that some people don’t have.
These skills and techniques are usually not emphasized in schools, and therefore not brought into your workforce.
Once a person learns the tools and techniques, and has opportunities to regularly practice, this becomes a Genius Mode they can activate on demand.
Why is the “Genius Mode” important?
60% of CEOs say Creativity is the most important resource in keeping their businesses competitive (IBM, 2010)
75% of people believe they’re not living up to their creative potential (Adobe, 2012)
77% of CEOs say they can’t find the Creativity and Innovation Skills they need (PEW Research Center, 2017)
Companies that foster creativity enjoy a 1.5x greater market share (Adobe, 2015)
50% of customers will pay more for a superior good or service (Adobe, 2015)
